The Hakh group of companies is a family operated group of rice mills located in different rice growing regions of Guyana. It all started in 1924 through the pioneering vision of Mr Naboo. His Son Mr Abdul Hakh took over the family business and established his first one ton mill in 1964. Through hard work and commitment, the
Hakh group has expanded thoughout Guyana and is currently owned and operated by the great grandsons of Mr Naboo.
Today, The Hakh group is the largest rice exporter in Guyana through the operation of nine rice mills plants. Our exports accounts for approximately 50% of Guyana’s rice production. We currently export to Europe, Caribbean, South America and Latin America.
